How to take care of hair naturally

Your hair is what makes you beautiful. How you treat your hair affects its thickness, length, and shine. But your hair’s thickness, length, and shine also show how healthy your scalp is, which is something that many people ignore. However, help is available, and the best things are often the simplest ones, too!

Warm oil is good for hair

Putting a warm natural oil on your skin and hair can do amazing things for your health and well-being. Here are some oils that you can add to your routine to take care of your hair naturally at home.

Coconut oil

This cure has been used for a very long time and still works! It’s easy to find locally, doesn’t cost much, and works on all hair types. It gets rid of dandruff, makes hair smoother, fixes split ends, and makes hair grow faster. Also, it keeps the hair from wasting protein. Extra pure coconut oil works best.

Argan oil

India doesn’t have argan oil natively, but it has been becoming more and more important lately. It is made from the nuts of the Argan tree, which grows in Morocco. It is high in Vitamin E, which makes it great for moisturising dry, dull hair and reducing curls.

Castor oil

Castor seed oil is good for your health in many ways, but it’s perfect for your hair. It keeps the hair from splitting and is a great moisturizer. It also keeps the roots from breaking by feeding them and keeping them smooth.

Bringhraj oil

Beauty products and Ayurvedic medicines both use this oil a lot. You should mix bringhraj oil with carrier oil before using it. When rubbed into the hair, it helps hair cells get active, which makes hair grow slower.

Pick a natural oil that fits your needs and hair type, and rub it into your head and hair well for the best hair health.

Use rice water

For a long time, some Chinese and Japanese have been washing their hair with rice water to make it longer and prevent it from going grey.

That sticky water that’s left over after cooking or soaking rice is called rice water. Hair is said to get smoother and shiner and grow faster.

Rice water may include several rice vitamins and minerals. This includes:

  • The amino acids
  • B vitamins
  • vitamin E
  • minerals and;
  • antioxidants

Try mayonnaise

Apply mayonnaise to hair for shine and hydration. Wet hair, add mayonnaise to the ends, then cover your hair with a shower hat and wash it.

Apply olive oil

If you want your hair to shine, use olive oil. Warm it up for 15 seconds, then put it on your hair. Leave your hair like this for 20 minutes with a towel wrapped around it. After that, wash your hair like you normally would.

Apply onion juice

You won’t believe it, but onion juice is full of nutrients that help hair grow and regrow. It’s also antibiotic and antifungal, so it keeps the head from getting infected. Sulfur in the juice keeps hair from getting dry and breaking. Also, vitamins in the juice help keep hair from getting old and turning grey. You can get rid of the strong smell of the juice by adding a few drops of peppermint or lavender essential oils.

Use eggs

Whip up one or two eggs, depending on how full your hair is. Then, apply the mixture to your dry hair and cover it with a towel. After 15 minutes, wash your hair as usual.

Green tea on your hair

The antioxidant EGCG found in green tea is beneficial to hair follicles and dermal papilla cells, leading to reduced hair loss and thinning. Additional advantages include effectiveness against psoriasis and dandruff. Green tea’s protein-regulating, nourishing, hydrating, and moisturizing properties make it an effective treatment for dry, itchy, flaky scalp.

Use a beer

Beer’s B vitamins help reinforce and strengthen each hair strand. The protein in the malt and hops also helps restore and mend damaged hair, shielding it from environmental aggressors like pollution and stress as well as internal ones like polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), pregnancy, and the postpartum period. The nutrients in your hair tighten the cuticles, making your hair lustrous, smooth, and frizz-free.

Aloe vera

Treat dry, damaged hair with aloe vera. Mix a cup of aloe vera gel with two tablespoons of castor oil and basil powder. Apply it on your hair and scalp after mixing. Sleep with towel-covered hair. Wash it with gentle shampoo and clean water in the morning. This will give you healthy, lustrous hair if you do it weekly.

DIY egg hair mask

To make an egg mask for healthy hair, you will need the following:

  • Two eggs

  1. Beat the eggs well in a bowl.
  2. Apply the mixture to your scalp and hair, making sure to coat all of the strands.
  3. Leave the mask on for 10 minutes.
  4. Rinse your hair well with water and shampoo and condition as usual.

Egg masks are a great way to moisturize and strengthen your hair. The egg yolk is especially beneficial for dry hair, as it contains natural oils and fatty acids that help to hydrate and nourish the scalp. The egg white contains proteins that help to strengthen the hair shaft and prevent breakage.
